MY STORY

A journey towards health

Battling years of chronic illness led me on a roller-coaster of a journey, exploring all types of healing modalities. It wasn’t until I discovered the connection between the mind and the body and understood emotional dysregulation to be the underlying cause of my physical health issues that my symptoms began to ease.

I now teach thousands of people around the world about breathwork, nervous system health and Jungian psychology so they can move into a place of thriving physical & emotional health themselves. 

The evolution of my work

Most people reading this will know me as Breathe With James. I created an incredibly successful breathwork business and launched my own breathwork app, but then I realised  I wanted my work to expand and include wider nervous system and emotional health too.

As much as the breath is an incredibly powerful tool, it’s important to recognise that it is just a piece of the healing puzzle - not the entirety of it. It will now just be a piece of my work too.

My work has always been a reflection of my own healing - the stressful and traumatic experiences that I’ve endured, my own journey of recovery, and the observations and insights that I’ve gleaned along the way.

My learning never stops. I’ve just started a Master’s in Jungian psychology so to weave depth psychology into nervous system health. I hope you’ll join me on this unfolding path.

This course is a culmination of everything I have learnt over the last decade of exploring physical and emotional health through a nervous system lens.

BREATHE WITH JAMES

Enter a place to calm your senses

My breathwork app (and first big creation!) is filled with breathwork practices that down-regulate your nervous system and move you into a more relaxed and settled place.

There is also a “Learn” section where you can geek out on all things breathwork and nervous system science too.

My one-one work has a predominantly somatic orientation. I work with people to create stability and resilience, moving them into a more organised nervous system state.
