MY STORY
A journey towards health
Battling years of chronic illness led me on a roller-coaster of a journey, exploring all types of healing modalities. It wasn’t until I discovered the connection between the mind and the body and understood emotional dysregulation to be the underlying cause of my physical health issues that my symptoms began to ease.
I now teach thousands of people around the world about breathwork and nervous system health (and a bit of Jungian psychology) so they can move into a place of thriving physical & emotional health themselves.
The evolution of my work
Most people reading this will know me as Breathe With James. I created a successful breathwork business and launched a breathwork app, but then I realised I wanted my work to expand and incorporate wider nervous system health and Jungian psychology, too.
As powerful as the breath is, it’s important to recognise that it is just one piece of the healing puzzle—not the entirety. It will now be just a piece of my work, too.
My work has consistently reflected my healing—the challenges I’ve faced, my journey of recovery, and observations and insights that I’ve gleaned along the way.
I’m currently halfway through a Master’s in Jungian psychology—deepening my work of weaving together psyche and soma. I hope you’ll join me on this unfolding path.

My breathwork app (and first significant creation!) is filled with breathwork practices designed to down-regulate your nervous system and move you into a more relaxed and settled state.
There is also a ‘Learn’ section where you can learn about breathwork and nervous system science.
I’m not a psychotherapist, but I can offer a (sometimes) transformative space that holds you in weaving together somatic and transpersonal psychologies.
